Commercial Estimator / Project Coordinator

The candidate will focus on the common goal of processing commercial/multifamily projects from new order state to production.



As a Commercial Estimator/Project Coordinator, the candidate will be working in the Perryville, MO office and will work with inside sales on the project, working with truss designers and wall panels designers as needed per project. An ideal candidate is interested in producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. They must have strong oral and written communication skills; be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. They must be highly organized with attention to detail and be able to perform critical thinking and problem solving.



RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


Coordinate &a; correspond with EPS District Sales Managers


Coordinate &a; correspond with EPS truss and wall designers.


Work with Dealers &a; General contractors for project questions.


Work in CAD to build submittals for customers.


Review and submit shop drawings for trusses and wall panels.


Build material take-offs from Architectural and Engineering plan sets.


Field site questions as needed.


Perform other duties as assigned.


Assist in answering questions on projects being quoted.


EDUCATION AND
Qualifications:


REQUIRED


Knowledge of general construction practices and procedures along with code requirements.


Knowledge of AutoCAD or related CAD drafting software.


Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, &a; Outlook.


Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and special estimating as needed.


Experience with estimating wood frame, commercial, and multifamily construction.


Ability to travel to job sites if needed.


Able to work independently as well as lead and organize a project team.


PREFERRED


2-year Technical school or a degree in Construction Management with 3-5 years&s; experience or equivalent experience with residential and or commercial wood frame construction.



Must be willing to relocate.

$33 per hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
